A reel brings 50,000 views, 500 people click on the profile, 100 on the link, 20 arrive at OnlyFans, 5 subscribe. People get lost at every point. Most creators only look at the views. The number that counts is at the end.
The link must not lead straight to OnlyFans
On Instagram and TikTok a direct OnlyFans link is a risk for the account. The way goes via a landing page: a link page with your name, your picture and one button. That costs one click, but protects the account.
Deep link instead of browser
The biggest loss happens at opening. A normal link opens OnlyFans in the browser inside the Instagram app, where the fan is not logged in and often gives up. A deep link opens the OnlyFans app directly, where he is logged in. The difference is around 40 to 50 percent more arrivals.
The landing page
It has to load in one second and be graspable at a glance on the phone: picture, one sentence, one button. Not ten links to all platforms. Every additional link costs clicks on the one that counts. Whoever wants to offer more makes a second button, not ten.
Tracking
Without numbers you do not know where people get lost. The link page should count: visitors, clicks on the button, and via OnlyFans tracking links, who of those subscribed. Then you see whether the problem is the reel, the profile or the link.
Tier 1 and the rest
The target is 40 percent of clicks from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany. More views from other regions bring numbers, but no revenue. When reach is high and subscriptions do not rise, that is often the cause, not the link.
What you can do today
Check whether your link in bio opens the OnlyFans app or the browser. If browser: set up a deep link. That is the one change with the biggest effect on the number at the end.
Our link pages have deep link and tracking built in. In the dashboard you see the whole chain, from views to subscriptions.
