A fan lands on your profile and decides in seconds. What needs to be in the bio, banner, profile picture and pinned posts so that he subscribes.

Optimising your OnlyFans bio and profile: the first five seconds decide

The way from Instagram to OnlyFans ends on your profile. That is where it is decided whether a click becomes a fan. Most profiles lose half their visitors at this point, because nothing there says why one should stay.

Profile picture

Face, close, good light, looking into the camera. The profile picture appears tiny in every message and every comment, so no full-body shot. Whoever works without a face: a distinctive detail that is recognisable, always the same on all platforms.

The banner is the stage. This is where what the fan gets belongs: a picture from the set, not from holiday. With a short text, three to five words, for example what you post most often or that you answer every message.

Bio

Four lines, no more:

  1. Who you are, in one sentence. Niche, not randomness.
  2. What a fan gets. How often you post, what happens in the chat.
  3. A reason to subscribe now. Discount ends, new set this week.
  4. The rule that builds trust: "I answer every message."

No emojis in every line, no lists with twenty points. The fan reads on the phone, in the half-dark, with one hand.

Pinned posts

Every visitor sees the first three posts. Your strongest content belongs here, no welcome video with explanations. A picture that shows what the subscription brings. A short video that shows personality. A post that invites to the chat.

Subscription price and bundles

A low entry price, $5 to $10, and bundles for three and six months with a discount. The subscription is the door, the money comes afterwards in the chat. A subscription price that is too high closes the door before the chat can start.

What you check once a month

  • Does the banner still show the current set?
  • Does the bio match what you are posting right now?
  • Are the pinned posts the strongest of the last weeks?

A profile that never changes looks abandoned. Fans who come by a second time should see something new.

At Northfeed we set up the profile together in the first week and check it monthly against the numbers: how many visitors subscribe? If the rate drops, the profile gets adjusted, not the content.
