Sooner or later it happens to almost every creator: a set shows up on a leak site. That is annoying, but not the end of the world. The way to get rid of it is standardised and works with most sites within days.
What DMCA is
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act is a US law. It obliges platforms to remove copyrighted content when the rights holder demands it. Since almost all leak sites and all big platforms are hosted in the US or reachable there, the procedure applies practically worldwide. You are the rights holder of your content, so you can use it.
The first 24 hours
- Secure evidence. Screenshot of the page with URL and date. Not only the picture, the whole page.
- Find the host. The leak site itself often does not react. The host behind it does. A whois lookup of the domain gives you the provider and the abuse address.
- Send the DMCA request. To the site and to the host. Template below.
- Inform Google. Via the form for removal from search. That makes the hit disappear from search results, even if the site is still online.
What goes into the request
- Your statement that you are the rights holder.
- The exact URL of the leaked content.
- The URL of the original on OnlyFans, as proof.
- Your contact details. Here you use an address that is not your private name, for example via the agency or a service provider.
- The sentence that you affirm under penalty of perjury that the information is correct.
Most hosts remove within 24 to 72 hours. Google within a few days.
What helps permanently
Monitoring. Finding leaks early is half the success. We continuously search for our creators' content, via image search and known leak sites, and file the requests before the creator hears about it.
Watermarks. A subtle watermark with the buyer's username makes leaks traceable. Fans who know the set carries their identifier leak less often.
Geoblocking. Whoever blocks their own country reduces the chance that a leak lands in their own surroundings.
What does not help
Threats to the leaker, public posts about it, or services that "guarantee removal" for a lot of money. The procedure is free and works. It only needs someone who does it consistently.
Leak protection is part of the package at Northfeed: monitoring, DMCA requests and geoblocking are set up on day one.
